Dr. Jürgen Wahl started his industrial career in 1984 when joining the LCD development and production section of VDO Adolf Schindling AG. This section later on merged into Optrex Europe GmbH, where he is director in the area of display technologies (mainly LCD and OLED). He significantly influenced especially automotive instrumentation with several high performance LCD families, which are mass produced in German/European facilities of Optrex Europe GmbH. Dr. Wahl is member of the international SID, supports display activities on European Photonics21 Platform, is member of the German Liquid Crystal Society and of ITG within German VDE, and is long time member of the board of German DFF (Flat Panel Display Forum). |
