Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Michael Knoll is head of the R&D in driver assistence systems at ROBERT BOSCH, Leonberg. After studying Electronics and his PhD at the Technical University of Karlsruhe he focusses during his habilitation on electronic displays. Prof. Knoll published in 1986 a book on electronic displays which was the first in Germany to address these technologies and is until today an excellent reference. He started his industrial career about 25 years ago at ROBERT BOSCH and was always involved in automotive displays at it’s applications. His excellent work pushes him to higher management levels. Prof. Knoll is a highly distinguished speaker on many (international) conferences and member of the Society for Information Displays (SID).
