Review electronic displays Conference 2013

In 2013 some 300 display specialists came together for Europe's largest display conference dedicated to applications of displays.

The 27th electronic display conference saw many highlights: 12 sessions experts' lectures provided information on the areas of display technologies, hard and software for controlling them, along with the concept, realization and application of display full-systems across the whole spectrum of current industry trends. Eight keynote lectures highlighted hot topics such as OLEDs, Automotive Displays, Touch Screens, E-Signage and display trends. Ten regular sessions covered most of the keynotes in dedicated sessions as well as sessions on display optimizations, Human Machine Interface (HMI), display interfaces and measurements.

But go and see for yourself if you have missed the conference! Have a look at the detailed conference schedule 2013. The electronic displays Conference (edC)  is the platform in Europe for promoting the dialogue and discussion between engineers, researchers, users, and manufacturers/distributors in the field of electronic displays and its applications.

DFF Student Paper Award 2013

Stefan Schuster, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences received the DFF Student Paper Award for his thesis "System design of an autostereoscopic 3D multiview interaction system".

Attendees’ quotes:

That were the topics I was looking for… very good - Very interesting conference  - Social networking - Good conference – keep and increase the dynamics! OLED session was very interesting.  -  High Efficiency –  It's a good forum for keeping up the professional contacts.  -  Opportunitiy to see different points of view for future imaging world.
